The Shady stranger is a NPC encountered in the Heist minigame. If a wanted poster is torn down the shady stranger will award the first player to talk to him with loot (when playing as a robber) or a temporary trail to a robber (when playing as a guard), as well as a random perk for either. After this, he teleports away.
Shady stranger's dialogue implies he follows Zamorak.
