The Sagittarian shortbow is an item related to the Dungeoneering skill. It requires 99 Ranged to wield. It is the strongest shortbow in Daemonheim, as well as the strongest bow in the game. It is only obtainable as drop from the skeletal trio, requiring 71 Dungeoneering to access. Level 138 forgotten rangers can be seen wielding it.
The Sagittarian shortbow is the most powerful bow available in Daemonheim. With Sagittarian arrows, it has the same power as the primal 2h sword and other tier 11 weapons. However, it is arguably superior to its melee counterparts as it can attack at a distance. Compared to the Sagittarian longbow and hexhunter bow, the shortbow lacks armour rating and life point bonus, however the far greater damage output more than compensates for it. Even when compared with the Hexhunter bow under its passive effect, the Sagittarian shortbow is still stronger in all situations where it inflicts 30% more damage.
