Queen's guard hat is a Treasure Hunter reward that may not be currently obtainable via Treasure Hunter. |
The queen's guard hat was available as a uncommon reward from the Squeal of Fortune. It is one of the five pieces off the Queen's Guard outfit. According to Jagex, it was only possible to win the pieces of this outfit, alongside the Dragon ceremonial outfit, "throughout the summer months." Once a particular piece has been won, it couldn't be obtained as a reward again.
When the entire set is complete, it can be re-coloured when you wear all 5 items by right clicking. This ability is also shared with the Dragon Ceremonial clothes.
This, along with the rest of the outfit, became temporarily available again on 27 February 2014 as part of the Blast from the Past Treasure Hunter promotion, on 17 July through 22 July as part of the Blast from the Past II Treasure Hunter promotion, and on 10 May 2017 through 15 May 2017 as reward in an antique chest through the Buried Treasure Treasure Hunter promotion.
