The magic vial of water was a prize on the Squeal of Fortune, from 12 December 2013 up until the Squeal of Fortune was replaced by Treasure Hunter. They are used in the Herblore skill as a stackable replacement for the vial of water.

If the inventory is full of magic vials and herbs, any unfinished potions obtained from the scroll of cleansing will be dropped on the floor.
