The healer's insignia is a reward from Barbarian Assault that can be purchased with 500 healer points if you are a level 5 Healer and have killed the Penance King at least five times.
When charged with an insignia recharge, the insignia increases the life points restored by any food by 5%, rounding down, so a rocktail, normally healing 2300, would heal 2415 instead. Unlike expensive spices, this item works on saradomin brews, making them heal 1050 life points instead of 1000. The healer's insignia stacks with expensive spices. The +50 life points boost from expensive spices is applied first before the 5% boost from the healer's insignia. It uses up 1% of charge for every two pieces of food or saradomin brew consumed. An insignia recharge gives the Healer's insignia about 200 increased healing food items.
When it is uncharged, there's a 1% bonus to lifepoints healed from food. However, the +10 prayer bonus still remains. One significant disadvantage of this item is that it degrades rather fast when the user constantly heals.
