The Guard stands guard before a door in the dungeon in the Fremennik Saga, Three's Company. He appears to be wearing full Katagon armour with a Katagon rapier, but he could not be attacked. He claims not to know Carn and was simply stationed there by his "commander".
He has a hobby of farming potatoes. Ozan uses this to his advantage to persuade him from guarding the door.
After he begins farming potatoes, things always go wrong with the potatoes he farms. They will sometimes explode, knocking him over. They will sometimes turn into a giant rat, which will walk away. And sometimes he eats them, but he complains about them making him sick.
The unfortunate result of the guard's hobby.
