The only way to unbind an item is to destroy it.

The fractite platebody is an item that can only be obtained and used while training Dungeoneering. It may be picked up from the table at the beginning of a dungeon, obtained as a monster drop, or produced using the Smithing skill. Smithing a Fractite platebody grants the highest smithing experience within Daemonheim for F2P, a hefty 253 experience if XP-share is turned off, in addition to 32xp per Fractite bar smelted.

It is highly recommended for F2P players using the melee combat style to bind a Fractite platebody while Dungeoneering. The Fractite platebody should be the second bound item beyond level 50 Dungeoneering, after the first bound weapon. Not only is a Fractite platebody a rare drop, but the cost and time to make one can be troublesome (61,000 rusty coins is required to buy the 5 ores needed).
