The death ethereal head is part of the Death ethereal outfit that is available from Treasure Hunter. It was possible to obtain the death ethereal head from 18 October 2014 0:00 UTC to 18 October 2014 23:59 UTC and 19 October to 20 October 2014 23:59 UTC. It can also be created from 3,600 rune ethereal fragments with level 80 Runecrafting and 21 Invention.
Equipping all pieces of the outfit increase the chance of double runes while in the Runespan by 5%. When all pieces of the outfit are worn, there is a 25% chance that the player's rune pouches will not degrade while runecrafting. The complete outfit can store 6 rune essence or pure essence.
When worn as part of the full set, the head has the same functions as the wicked hood as well as the ability to teleport to the yellow wizard in Runespan.
They can be traded, but only for other parts.
