The broken old broom is a tattered old broom which snapped while the player, stuck in Evil Dave's body, was forced to do chores as punishment for being double grounded by Doris. A replacement tattered old broom can be obtained from the Edgeville General Store. The shopkeeper gives the player the broom for free, believing Dave broke it while trying to help his mother.
