Fighting boots detail

Fighting boots are obtained as a reward for completing the Stronghold of Security. If lost, they can be obtained, or exchanged for Fancy boots, from the Cradle of Life at the end of the fourth level. Fighting boots provide bonuses identical to bronze boots. These boots, along with Fancy boots, had the best defence bonuses of boots available to free players before the introduction of Warpriest of Saradomin boots and Warpriest of Zamorak boots.

The Fighting boots also come in many varieties, as the two bands around the ankle on the boots are always the same colour as the character's hair colour, so if the player's hair colour is purple the boots will have two purple bands around the ankle. This causes the Fighting Boots to have many possible styles.

Because the Safety gloves have the same colour scheme as the fighting boots, they are often worn along with the boots.
