Fever spiders are monsters that require a Slayer level of 42 to kill. Players must wear Slayer gloves while fighting them, or face being hit 12.5% of their maximum life points repeatedly. Even with the advent of Evolution of Combat, disease has remained. High level players won't need a lot of food (tuna should be enough). Fever spiders are considered to be a relatively fast task due to the large quantity of spiders, their low defence and lack of drops.
