Fever Spiders are monsters that require a Slayer level of 42 to kill. Players must wear Slayer gloves while fighting them, or face taking 11 damage repeatedly unless the protect from melee prayer is activated. Without the slayer gloves, the player will also become diseased, regardless of prayer or armour. The disease they inflict without proper protection requires three doses of Relicym's balm to cure. High level players won't need a lot of food (tuna should be enough).
