Farmers are level 10 and can be a challenge for new players. These are the only humans to drop the decorative gardening boots. Farmers can be fair melee training for lower levels that need experience. There is usually a farmer by Rat Burgiss. Farmers may seem weak to new players, but their level is higher than that of most new or inexperienced players, so these players risk death if they attack a farmer. However, if players run away from the farmer, he will stop chasing them after they leave a certain area.

Sometimes players hunt them for their gardening boots drops.

Player with level 10 Thieving or greater can pickpocket farmers, gaining 14.5 experience and some loot.

Farmers are located:

• One on the road from Lumbridge to Varrock.
• Two in the potato field north of Lumbridge.
• One on the road from Lumbridge to Draynor Village.
• Two in the farm north of Ardougne.
• One in the farm south of Falador.
• One wandering near the potato field north of Lumbridge.

These drops tend to be rarer, but some are very profitable if you get lucky.

TriviaEdit

• If you examine one of the farmers in a flax field in Taverley, the text will say "Completely ignoring the hose pipe ban". This could be a reference to the recent drought in England, this has not been confirmed though.
