The Falador Shield 1 is a small buckler shield achieved from completing the Easy section of the Falador Achievement Diary. It recharges a player's Prayer by 25% daily. 10 Defence is required to wield it. If you lose your shield you can get another by talking to Redbeard Frank in Port Sarim, easily reached using the Explorer's ring 3. It also comes with a Emote, if you equip it on the character and then right-click on it, then choose operate, then choose the emote option. Because of the close resemblance to the Saradomin mark it is often called the sara shield. The power of the shield is usable even in the other-dimensional, Prayer-draining Abyssal plane, though it may be difficult to use it simply for the amount of high-level aggressive monsters attacking the player.

The shield has the same stat bonuses (not including prayer) as a White or Black kiteshield.
