Extreme magic potions are made by players using the Herblore skill. It requires a Herblore level of 91 to make. When drunk, the player will receive a 7 level boost, which decreases over time, but gives 3% extra damage for every level boost. This stacks with the extra 10% boost from certain magical staves. With certain magical staves and the 7 level boost, a player will be able to hit 131% of what they would normally hit.
A Magic potion (3-dose) and Ground mud runes are the ingredients required to create the potion. Making this potion will give 250 Herblore experience. The potion cannot be made with the assistance of other players.
This potion, along with a Extreme attack, Extreme defence, Extreme ranging, and Extreme strength, can be used with torstol at 96 Herblore to make an Overload potion.
Please note that untradeable potions cannot be used in PvP worlds. Due to the 17/11/2009 update, this potion along with other extreme potion can be used in Safe PVP minigames
