Extreme attack potions are made by players using the Herblore skill. It requires a Herblore level of 88 to make it. When a player drinks the potion, they will get a boost in the Attack skill. The boost is between 3-17 levels depending on the player's Attack level. The boost is 15% + 3 of the players level, then rounded down

A Super attack potion (3-dose) and a Clean avantoe are the ingredients required to create this potion. Making this potion will give 220 Herblore experience. The potion cannot be made with the assistance of others.

This potion, along with a Extreme strength, Extreme defence, Extreme ranging, and Extreme magic, can be used with a clean torstol at 96 Herblore to make an Overload potion.

When first released, the Extreme and Overload potions could be used in PvP situations, but within 48 hours, this was changed so they cannot be used in any PvP situation, dangerous or safe, however as of 17 November 2009 Overload along with all other untradeable potions can be used in safe PvP minigames and Staked/Friendly Duel Arena.

Since the Evolution of Combat, extreme potions are allowed in PvP.

An extreme attack potion is equivalent to that of a strong melee potion while dungeoneering. Note: A strong melee potion has the combined effect of extreme attack and extreme strength potions.

Flask Edit

This potion can be made into an Extreme attack flask by using at least six doses of it with a Potion flask. Since all untradeable potions must be made by the player, the flasks actually have the same level requirement as the potion itself. However, if the player boosted their herblore level to attain the ability to create the potion, no subsequent boosts will be necessary to transfer the potion from vials to flask.
