Enchanted snow was removed from RuneScape after an update, but still exists in-game for those who had obtained it.

You can compress this into an enchanted snowball, which Santa's elves can use to make you a present.

Enchanted snow is an item used during part of the 2014 Christmas event. Players who chose to participate in this event could receive 750 enchanted snow daily from Santa's head elf (250 if the player was F2P). It was possible to collect enchanted snow from Treasure Hunter, skilling, killing monsters or participating in many activities across Gielinor. 1,000 enchanted snow was needed to be compressed into an enchanted snowball, in order to then exchange it for 1 christmas present by talking to Santa's head elf. Skilling and combat gave 10–30 snow, which was doubled during certain weeks:

Between 3 and 10 December, double enchanted snow was gained from killing monsters;
Between 11 and 16 December, double enchanted snow was gained from training non-combat skills.

Since 17 December 2014, it is no longer obtainable, and can be traded in for 10 coins each at Santa's head elf.

Trivia

Skilling used to give 6-15 snow every 5 minutes before a hotfix increased the amount.
