The Enchanted gem is an item used in the Slayer skill. They are sold by all Slayer masters. This item can be obtained for free the first time, and for 1 coin each after that if you have lost it. These allow you to contact the slayer master that has assigned your current slayer assignment, where you can ask for tips, ask who the master is and where they are located, and most importantly see how many monsters you still have to left to kill for your slayer assignment. An alternative to the gem is a worn Combat bracelet, which will update the player every 10 kills if it has 1 or more charges. The Enchanted gem is a component of the commorb obtained from Sir Tiffy Cashien and also the Slayer ring. You cannot ask for a new Slayer task through the Gems but have to go to the Slayer Master in person.

- There is a bug where after a slayer task has been finished, asking for tips will send the player back to the beginning of the conversation
