The Emir is the current ruler of Al Kharid, a small nation on the northern fringe of the massive Kharidian Desert. Since his son, Prince Ali, was kidnapped by Lady Keli, he had hidden himself from the public eye, and has put his chancellor Hassan in charge of ruling in his place. Like King Vallance of Falador, he cannot be found ingame, and rules through someone.
