|Examine||Enchanted emerald-tipped mithril crossbow bolts.|
Enchanted emerald bolts are mithril bolts tipped with enchanted emerald. Emerald bolts can be enchanted through the spell Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Emerald) by a player with level 27 Magic. The spell enchants 10 emerald bolts at a time.
These bolts require lvl 60 ranged to use.
Enchanted emerald bolts are enchanted with the Magical poison enchantment. This makes the bolts count as being poisoned with extra strong poison along with an increased chance of poisoning their opponent. This chance does not stack with weapon poison. When the ability is activated, a cloud of green gas rises up below the target, and it makes a distinct sound.
Unlike poison potions, this poison always does low damage rather than scaling with ability damage, however it has a very high chance of being applied making it reliable for poisoning Corporeal Beast's Dark Core to slow down its attack rate.
This effect can be triggered with auto attacks and abilities, with abilities consuming one bolt per activation.
The chance of the special attack occurring is increased upon the completion of the Elite Seers' Tasks.

- Before the Evolution of Combat update these bolts were commonly used when fighting the Corporeal Beast, to stun the Dark energy core. However, since the EoC update this is no longer possible.
- On 23 February 2010, a bug was leaked in which one could duplicate enchanted bolts but was patched on the same day. Many players were banned for using this glitch.
- These bolts were untradeable when released, but a hidden update in 2007 made them tradeable.
