Elysian sigil detail

The Elysian sigil was released on 15 September 2008. It can be attached to a Blessed spirit shield to make an Elysian spirit shield. To attach the sigil to the blessed spirit shield, players need 90 Prayer and 85 Smithing.

It is only obtainable as a rare drop from the Corporeal Beast or by trading with another player.

Trivia

  • The name Elysian probably originates from Greek mythology where the "Elysian Fields, or the Elysian Plains, were the final resting place of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous."
  • The Elysian sigil can be found in the Grand Exchange database (on the RuneScape website) by searching "Mod Mark". The reason is for this is because the word, "marked" is in the examine info. This is very similar to the Gadderhammer.
  • The Elysian sigil is equally rare to the Divine sigil as a drop from the Corporeal beast, however the reason why the Divine sigil is worth a lot more is because of the more reliable effect it has (when the sigil is attached to a Blessed spirit shield.)
  • The Elysian sigil is the second most expensive drop from a monster, after the divine sigil.
  • It looks somewhat like a manta ray.
