Elysian sigil detail

The elysian sigil was released on 15 September 2008. It can be attached to a blessed spirit shield to make an elysian spirit shield. To attach the sigil to the blessed spirit shield, players need 90 Prayer and 85 Smithing. Creating the elysian spirit shield will make a profit/loss of -74622333 coins.

It is only obtainable as an extremely rare drop from the Corporeal Beast or by trading with another player, though most players prefer to attach it onto a blessed spirit shield.

TriviaEdit

  • The name elysian probably originates from Greek mythology where the "Elysian Fields, or the Elysian Plains, were the final resting place of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous."
  • The elysian sigil is equally rare to the divine sigil as a drop from the Corporeal Beast, however the reason why the divine sigil is worth more is because of the melee shield being more sought-after than other spirit shields.
  • Despite the lowering value of the elysian spirit shield, the sigil is still in high price because the sigil is usually CoinShared instead of LootShared. The same also affects the other three sigils.
