The Elysian sigil was released on 15 September 2008. It can be attached to a Blessed spirit shield to make an Elysian spirit shield. To attach the sigil to the blessed spirit shield, players need 90 Prayer and 85 Smithing.
It Is only obtainable as a rare drop from the Corporeal Beast or by trading with another player.

- The name Elysian probably originates from Greek mythology where the "Elysian Fields, or the Elysian Plains, were the final resting place of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous."
- This sigil is said to resemble a manta ray or a dragon's wings, but when it is attached it looks like a Hawk or a Phoenix.
- This item is currently the second most expensive item to be dropped by a monster, surpassed only by the Divine sigil.
