The Elite Dark Ranger is a monster found in the Black Knights' Fortress Dungeon. The dungeon is only accessible during and after While Guthix Sleeps. It uses ranged attacks, so armour that has a good ranged defence bonus can be helpful.
Though, there are Elite Black Magers and Elite Black Knights/Warriors within the area.
