Elder sapling detail

The elder sapling is obtained by planting an elder seed in a plant pot filled with dirt, then by using a watering can on the plant pot. A player must wait at least one crop cycle in order for an elder seedling to sprout into a sapling in the plant pot.

A player must have at least level 90 in Farming to be able to make this item.

Planting the sapling in an Elder tree patch will result in the chance of growing an Elder tree in the patch. Players can ask the gardener, Sior, for assistance in watching over their Elder tree for a payment of 25 Morchella mushrooms - these may be noted.

The player has a chance of getting their elder seed back from the sapling by right-clicking the sapling and selecting "Salvage seed". The chance of getting the seed back is approximately 75% with 99 Farming, though it is unknown if Farming level affects the odds.
