Drygore weaponry

Drygore weaponry is an array of six weapons dropped by the Kalphite King. They are equipment requiring level 90 Attack to wield, and are the highest-level Melee equipment outside of Daemonheim. Drygore weapons degrade and are usable for 10 hours. One of the cheapest ways to repair the equipment is with chitin scraps, which can be bought from the Grand Exchange or made by smithing damaged chitin into chitin scraps. Damaged chitin is a drop from the exiled kalphites in the Exiled Kalphite Hive. Alternatively, it can be repaired by Bob in Lumbridge or at the Armour Stand of a player-owned house.

As of an update on 21 January 2014, the price of repair depends on the player's Smithing level, starting at 3 million coins (and half of that for the off-hand weapon) at level 1 Smithing and ending at 1.5 million coins at level 99 Smithing (and half of that for the off-hand weapon). Prior to this update, drygore weaponry cost a set amount of coins to repair.

It is a common misconception that when using abilities, the drygore mace is weaker than the rapier or longsword because of its lower damage rating. However, weapon speed affects ability damage so the three weapons offer the same damage per second.

Prices

The price listed for armour stand assumes you are level 99 Smithing and using the Smithing Cape boost. For each Smithing level under 99, the repair cost will be 1% more.

Trivia

• If a player receives any of these weapons as a drop from the Kalphite King, server-wide news will appear for that world.
• A mainhand Drygore weapon is dark, while the off-hand version is lighter and is set the opposite way of a mainhand while in an inventory, bank, or equipment tab.
