The Druid pouch is an item first obtained during Nature Spirit. After the completion of the quest, an empty Druid pouch spawns inside the grotto containing the altar of nature. Its main use is to protect the player against the ghasts that haunt the Mort Myre Swamp. It is an essential used in Temple Trekking as ghasts may attack the player or the follower during the trek between Paterdomus and Burgh de Rott.
To use the pouch, players must first fill it with nature items such as Mort myre fungus, Mort myre stems, and Mort myre pears. These items are obtained by:
- Casting "Bloom" with the Druidic spell given during Nature Spirit.
- Casting "Bloom" using a Blessed silver sickle or Ivandis flail near fallen logs, branches, or dead bushes and picking whatever that blooms.
Once filled, the pouch can be used against ghasts. When one attacks, the pouch will automatically activate, making them visible. It can then be attacked and killed. It protects any food in the inventory from being turned into Rotten food.
[edit] Trivia
- Similar to runes, every charge of the druid pouch is treated like a separate item while banking, instead of being one item with x charges stored in it. If players have two separate druid pouches and fill them up, they turn into charges that stack together in the bank.
- It is not known to have a limit on how many charges you can use them on.
