Druids are found in Taverley. They attack with both melee and magic, making them a bit harder to defeat. These Druids are sometimes fought for the herbs that they carry, but Chaos Druids are a better source of herbs.
A common tactic to defeat these Druids in Taverley is to kill only the Druids that are close to the Druid's Circle by using protection Prayers (preferably protect against magic, as knight armour can repel most of their attacks) and recharging prayer points every so often, by praying at the circle. The druids also use binding spells.
The Druids are the official followers of Guthix. They should not be confused with Chaos druids, which are followers of Zamorak. They are a peaceful organisation with a love of nature, herblore, and potion-making and other such alchemical professions. Their white robes show they are druids. Some druids appear to be wielding staffs and others may be wielding white-coloured sickles. The druids own a stone circle for worship of Guthix in their village of Taverley, and they once had one south of Varrock but it was overrun by dark wizards wishing to summon Delrith, who have long-since defiled it. It is unknown who founded the druids, but they have been around for a long time, and their magics studied are different to the rune magics of wizards and mages found elsewhere.
Players who specialise in herblore may wish to become 'druids' themselves, and there are indeed quests about druids.
