Dragonstone detail

Dragonstones are members-only, purple gems used in Crafting. Uncut dragonstones require level 55 crafting to cut, granting 137.5 crafting experience per stone. A cut dragonstone can be cut into dragon bolt tips by using a chisel on a cut dragonstone at level 71 Fletching. Attempting to do this will bring up a message asking if the player is sure that they want to do so as the stones are valuable. Cutting dragonstones into bolt tips grants the player 8 Fletching experience per stone and gives the player 12 dragon bolt tips per stone.

Uncut dragonstones may be found in the Crystal chest in Taverley using a crystal key; each crystal key guarantees one uncut dragonstone from the chest in addition to other random items. Additionally, some extremely high-level monsters (such as the Kalphite Queen and the Corporeal Beast) may drop uncut dragonstones and they may also be looted from a dragon impling jar or a kingly impling jar.

The dragonstones occasionally found in the Mage Training Arena activity are different from normal dragonstones because the Mage Training Arena "dragonstones" cannot be taken outside the Enchantment room: furthermore, they provide pizazz points when any enchantment spell is used on them.

Dragonstones are also a possible reward from a Fire spirit when adding logs to a bonfire.

Dragonstone Jewellery

Dragonstones can be forged in a furnace with a gold bar and the appropriate mould to produce the following jewellery, which can then be enchanted to perform specific uses.
