Dragon slayer gloves are a type of reward that can be purchased with 200 tokens from the Fist of Guthix minigame or with 100 thaler from Stanley Limelight's store and require level 40 Slayer to wear. They give 15% more Slayer experience and a 10% accuracy boost when slaying dragons assigned by slayer masters. The accuracy bonus stacks with the all other accuracy boosts (including prayers, potions, all slayer helmets, nihil familiars, dragonbane bolts and arrows, scrimshaws, Void Knight equipment, the reaper necklace and the extreme dominion medallion). The gloves crumble to dust after 1,000 kills.
To gain the extra experience from the gloves while using another set of gloves for combat, wield the gloves used for combat while attacking the Dragon. Then, when the dragon is about to be killed, switching to the dragon slayer gloves will yield the appropriate experience bonus.
Many players prefer good combat gloves over the dragon slayer gloves against most dragons due to the higher hits. However, if fighting the King Black Dragon or Queen Black Dragon the bonus will noticeably increase your accuracy, making the dragon slayer gloves the better choice.
The gloves do not grant any bonus experience when used against Skeletal Wyverns.
