Dragon rider gloves are gloves dropped by the King Black Dragon. They had the largest prayer boost available in their slot along with torva, pernix, and virtus, a title previously held by white, Armadyl and Bandos gloves at +1, until the release of Superior Dragon Rider gloves. They require 60 Defence to wear.
They once belonged to Hannibus, the last of the Dragon Riders and author of the book Last riders.
The gloves are ten levels higher than dragonstone gauntlets, and are a lot cheaper. They also offer a prayer bonus.
Players can upgrade the gloves using a Dragon Rider kit, making it Superior Dragon Rider gloves. Note that this process has no confirmation message, and cannot be reversed.
