The Dragon plateskirt is a dark red skirt that requires 60 defence to be equipped. It is dropped by all metal dragons, though it is mostly a rare drop. It has the same stats as the Dragon platelegs, but has a lower value as there are fewer female players than male players (according to a poll by Jagex). However, some male players prefer it over the Dragon Platelegs as it has the same stats and is much cheaper to replace if lost. Higher-level and/or richer players, particularly those who have shelled out for the more expensive platelegs, are often quick to pick on this.
As with most Dragon equipment (besides the Dragon platebody and the Dragon sq shield), this item cannot be made using the Smithing skill.
