Dragon platelegs

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

A detailed pair of Dragon platelegs.

Dragon platelegs are a piece of Dragon armour that require 60 Defence to be worn. They can only be obtained as drops from Bronze Dragons, Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons, or through trade (either facilitated by the Grand Exchange or with other players). They have the same bonuses as the Dragon plateskirt, but cost vastly more (approximately 4.5 times more expensive) than the equivalent plateskirt. Due to this, many players have decided to opt for the cheaper option. Dragon platelegs can also be gained as a drop from PvP worlds, however it is rare, as can Corrupt dragon platelegs.

Since the introduction of the Grand Exchange, the price of this once-expensive item has dropped from 2.3 million coins, at its highest, to about 989,400 coins.

On 25 March 2009, the Dragon legs were updated and now have spikes on the knees.

As with most Dragon equipment (besides the Dragon platebody and the Dragon sq shield), this item cannot be made using the Smithing skill.

[edit] Trivia

  • After the 25th March updates, the interface dragon platelegs stayed the same, until the next day where they became glitchy and anyone who had them on would die for no apparent reason. This was fixed the next day.
