Enchanted dragonstone bolts are runite bolts tipped with enchanted dragonstone. These bolts can be only used with Rune crossbow. Dragon bolts can be enchanted through the spell Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Dragonstone) by a player with level 68 Magic. The spell enchants 10 dragonstone bolts at a time.
Enchanted dragonstone bolts are enchanted with the Dragon's Breath enchantment. This gives the bolts a chance of inflicting a dragonfire hit against their target, unless they have an anti-dragon shield or dragonfire shield, have used an anti-fire potion, or are some type of fiery beast, such as a dragon.
Enchanted dragonstone bolts are notable because of their effectiveness against pures with very low defence. The special (and dragonfire in general) damage is calculated based on your opponent's defence - if your opponent has none, you will hit extremely hard (40 to 68 damage) and consistently.

- Sometimes if people buy/sell this kind of bolt, they dub it the "Dragon Bolt". This often leads to confusion that crossbow bolts made from dragon metal has been newly introduced.
