Dragon bolts (also known as Dragonstone bolts, not to be confused with Dragon Arrows) are rune bolts tipped with dragonstone. Dragonstone bolts can be created through the Fletching skill by attaching dragon bolt tips to rune bolts. Attaching dragon bolt tips requires a Fletching level of 71, and for each dragonstone bolt tip attached to a rune bolt, a player is granted 8.2 Fletching experience. Once the dragon bolt tips have been attached, the rune bolts becomes dragonstone bolts.
Dragonstone bolts can be enchanted through the spell Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Dragonstone) by a player with level 68 Magic. The spell enchants 10 dragonstone bolts at a time, and once they are enchanted they become enchanted dragonstone bolts and gain a special ability, detailed under Enchanted Dragonstone Bolts.
