As of 20 November 2012, the doomcore staff provides all elemental runes when wielded. It is not commonly used due to the rarity of Nechryaels in Daemonheim. Its stats place it between Entgallow staff and Grave creeper staff in terms of accuracy.

- There is currently a glitch where it will still require you to have level 83 Magic, even though you already have 68 Attack and 68 Magic. This is most likely due to its accuracy, which is consistent with a level 83 weapon rather than a level 68 weapon.
- Prior to the Evolution of Combat, the Doomcore staff had a large magic damage bonus but negative accuracy bonuses, corresponding to its examine text.
