Dimintheis Fitzharmon is a noble of Varrock. He is featured heavily in two quests, Family Crest and Defender of Varrock. He is the father of Avan, Caleb and Johnathon Fitzharmon. His house is located south of Varrock's east gate, north of the clothes shop in the fenced off area.
Family Crest
You must talk to him to start the Family Crest quest. He lives in the fenced-off area in the south-east corner of Varrock. He had given each of his 3 sons pieces of his family crest. He must get it back to regain his place in Varrock.
When you complete the quest, he gives the family gauntlets that can be enchanted into chaos gauntlets, goldsmithing gauntlets, or cooking gauntlets. He returns them to you for free if you ever lose them.
Defender of Varrock
In Defender of Varrock, the player discovers that Dimintheis is a descendant of the founder of Varrock, one of the seven original elders. His last name is not the same as the list of elders, but his mother, or some female in his family tree, is a descendant and married into the Fitzharmon family.
He is the only person who can successfully wield the Shield of Arrav, unlocking its magical properties. He uses the shield to slay the attacking zombies, thus saving Varrock from another Mahjarrat attack.

Trivia
- If Horvik is the adopted descendant of the Elders of Avarrocka, he states that a relative named Shauna Ravitz married into Dimintheis's family.
- In the alternate dimension of New Varrock, Reldo states that he was eaten by rats when the Rat Pits overflowed should the player suggest that he wield the Shield of Arrav, a reference to his role in Defender of Varrock.
