Dhalak can only be seen with the Ring of Visibility. He is one of the ghosts in the Ghostly Robes miniquest, and he will always give the player the Ghostly hood provided that they talk to him in the right location (which is different for every player), and AFTER the completion of the previous parts of the Ghostly Robes miniquest. He was originally a saradominist mage, who was given the Staff of Armadyl by Lennissa. He was supposed to give the Staff to Saradomin, but enchanted the Staff so that Zaros could not detect its presence. He then gave it to Zamorak so that he could kill Zaros and take evil from Gielinor forever. Zamorak manages to banish Zaros, gaining much of his power and obtaining the status of god for himself. Unfortunately for Dhalak, Zamorak chose evil.
His name may be a reference to the Daleks in the British TV Series Doctor Who
