The Demon horn necklace costs 35,000 Dungeoneering tokens and requires level 90 Prayer and 90 Dungeoneering to wear. The necklace was released along with a selection of eight other rewards, available at the rewards trader.
- 50 Prayer points for burying normal, burnt or bat bones. It does not work for wolf bones though.
- 100 Prayer points for burying big, baby dragon or wyvern bones.
- 150 Prayer points for burying dragon, dagannoth, ourg, airut and frost dragon bones
This item used to be notable for having the largest prayer bonus of any item worn in the neck slot, although since the Evolution of Combat the bone necklaces' bonuses were lowered to the point where the demon horn necklace no longer holds such a title. This necklace is still worth using in conjunction with the bonecrusher in locations where monsters with low life points frequently drop bones, as the combination can quickly restore Prayer points and no time is wasted manually burying the bones.
Players that are killing monsters that require the use of prayers and which bury the bones will find it very useful since it helps to save some Prayer points, allowing the player to continue without having to bank.
Note that ashes do NOT restore prayer points when using the necklace, nor do any ghosts killed in conjunction with the ectoplasmator.
