Davey is one of the trapped brewer-pirates in the Brewery on Braindeath Island, and is involved in the quest "Rum Deal". He is located in the western room on the first floor of the Brewery. He seems to have some knowledge in religion, as he is or used to be a priest, and assists the player with driving out an Evil spirit that was possessing the brewery's controls.
He plays a small role in Pieces of Hate, where he was not captured by Mi-Gor because he was in the brewers' quarters when he attacked. He assists the player in freeing Captain Braindeath by coming up with plans for them.

- The line "The power of Guthix compels you!" is a reference to the line "The power of Christ compels you!" from the film The Exorcist.
- Part of Davey's blessing is "Romanes Eunt Domus" (which is bad Latin for "Romans go home"), a reference to Monty Python's Life of Brian.
