This Dark bow is the same as a regular dark bow, but it has been painted yellow. Players can get the bow painted with Honour Points from the Barbarian Assault activity.

To get a yellow dark bow you must have a bow in your inventory and 50 Honour Points in either attacker, defender, collector or healer. Once you select the reward the centre of your bow's stock will turn yellow. Once painted the bow becomes untradeable. Painting your bow will not change any of its stat bonuses.

To remove the paint of the bow and make it tradeable again, you must use a Cleaning cloth on the painted bow, which is obtained by using Karamja rum on a piece of silk, or you can buy one from Tamayu in Tai Bwo Wannai village after the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.

Since the update on the 29 March, 2010 it is no longer necessary to spend 50 Honour Points each time you want your bow to be coloured. Once you buy a colour, you can use it as much as you want on your bow or Abyssal whip.
