Pot of cream detail

A pot of cream is made by using a bucket of milk with a dairy churn. Creating a pot of cream yields 18 Cooking experience. Pots of cream can be purchased from the Culinaromancer's chest in Lumbridge Castle's cellar after a point in the Recipe for Disaster quest, and also from Hudo or Heckel Funch at the Tree Gnome Stronghold for 19 coins each.

The name of the item was formerly pat of cream.

The pot of cream can be used on a churn to create the following items:

  • Butter: Using the Zanaris churn, one can turn a full inventory of cream into butter and make a round trip to the bank in just about three minutes. This will yield about 160,000 coins/hour if the cream is bought and butter sold on the GE, as well as yielding about 22,000 cooking xp per hour.
  • Cheese wheel: When turning the cream into a cheese wheel: the higher a player's Cooking level, the greater the number of cheeses received when cutting it into slices with a knife or wire. A person with 99 Cooking may obtain over 30 cheese from a single cheese wheel. 4 cheese wheels weigh 1 kg, therefore cheese wheels weigh a 1/4 of a kilogram each. Cheese wheels are untradeable. It is, however, easier to churn cheese straight from milk.
  • 2 pots of cream are also a part of the recipe for a chocolate bomb, a gnome dish.
