|Examine||This item degrades while worn, and will turn to dust.|
The Corrupt dragon chainbody was released on 15 October 2008 along with the PvP worlds. It is the strongest chainbody available to non-members, but it crumbles to dust after 30 minutes of wearing. It requires 60 Defence to wear.
Most free players choose not to use corrupt dragon armour due to its degradation and high cost. However, in a player vs. player situation, it is the best armour for countering the commonly used Gravite 2h sword.
Once you wear this item for longer than a few seconds, it will have the word (deg) added to its name and it becomes untradeable. Using this item in combat adds the (deg) to its name almost instantly, also rendering it untradeable. If you die with degraded PvP equipment, they will turn into coins which vary depending on the time used on the armour.
