The Combat Training Camp is a combat training facility with a group of caged Ogres which are popular for ranged training. This can be used to achieve 99 Ranged relatively quickly without taking any damage. It is located north of West Ardougne and just east of the Gnome Stronghold's entrance. Access is granted to a player only after completing the Biohazard quest. There are also many dummies for training Attack, an armoury, and a few beer spawns.

Many rangers seen training there use a variety of weapons to train "cost effectively." One method is to set up a cannon in the ogre cage, and let it pound away at them, reloading every so often and picking up drops. Other methods are Iron knives or darts, or using a Dorgeshuun Crossbow.

It is interesting to note that one can only fight the Ogres when not being attacked themself. Meaning that they can be attacked from outside the cage with a halberd. If inside the cage, and a player attacks an ogre over another, (using range, mage or halberd), and the one directly infront does not move, the further Ogre can be killed without taking damage. This can be very useful when using an Ava's Attractor or Accumulator. Once the Ogre infront DOES move, and the further one attacks you, you will get a message saying that they can only be attacked with ranged.

There is a small Summoning Obelisk just east of the entrance to the camp, which is useful to players wishing to train with their familiars.
