Cod are a members-only fish requiring a Fishing level of 23 to catch. They may be cooked with a Cooking level of at least 18 and will restore 7 of a player's hitpoints when consumed. Cod is also an ingredient in Fish pies. Raw Cod is also used for the Cold War quest, but it can be substituted with the use of the activated Ring of Charos. It is also used in the Pirate Pete subquest in the Recipe for Disaster quest.

Raw cod can be fished using a big fishing net at any net/harpoon spots.
