Clean torstol is a Herb that is used with Jangerberries in the Herblore skill to create Zamorak brew. It takes level 75 herblore to clean torstol, which gives 15 herblore experience. (Making a Zamorak brew, which requires level 78 herblore, gives 175 herblore experience.)

Before the release of the Farming skill, torstol was only obtainable from the Sinister chest in Yanille's Agility Dungeon. To unlock the chest a player needs a Sinister key, which is a drop from Salarin the Twisted and a possible item of loot from a Magpie impling.

Torstol can also be obtained as a possible alcove reward from burning Vyre corpses on pyres in the Paterdomus temple's Columbarium.

Torstol is one of four herbs that cannot be obtained from the Sorceress's Garden minigame in Al Kharid, along with Toadflax, Snapdragon, and Wergali.

Recently, the clean version of this herb was subject to a Grand Exchange error, from going to roughly 4,000 coins to 400 coins overnight, then back again to 4,000 coins the next day.

Torstol can now be combined with the new Extreme potions to create the ultimate Overload potion.
