The Chivalry Prayer gives a temporary 20% boost to a player's Defence skill, 18% boost to a player's Strength and 15% boost to a player's Attack. Requirements for using chivalry are completion of King's Ransom and Knight Waves Training Grounds along with 65 Defence and 60 Prayer. As with all member prayers, this cannot be used on a free-to-play server.

• Today, the terms chivalry and chivalrous are used to describe courteous behaviour, especially that of men towards women.
• Knights like King Arthur are called "chivalrous" in RuneScape.
• Chivalry's drain rate is slower than its stronger counterpart, Piety, by 0.03 seconds. Upon release of the prayer though, they both drained prayer at exactly the same speed. The date upon which the drain rates were changed is unknown.
• Though Chivalry requires 65 defence to use, it is actually impossible to use this prayer with level 65 defence. This is because the combined defence exp reward given from King's Ransom and from the knight waves activity will get you 66 Defence.
