The Chef's delight barrel is a piece of furniture that can be built in the kitchen of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. It requires level 48 Construction and level 54 Cooking, 3 oak planks, 2 steel bars, and 8 chef's delights to build. When built it earns the player 224 Construction experience.

The barrel, used with an empty beer glass, supplies the player with an unlimited amount of chef's delight. The beer cannot be taken outside of a player-owned house, nor can it be used for creating chef's delight barrel flatpacks. However, the effects will stay with the player. Like other furniture, neither kegs of chef's delight, nor chef's delight(m) may be substituted for chef's delight during the construction process.

Alternatively, players can also purchase a flatpack version of this item from another player.

The glasses filled from this barrel cannot be used for building other chef's delight barrels.

Given that chef's delight are not cheap and cost 7,099 coins on the Grand Exchange, this barrel can be a good long term investment for players training the Cooking skill. The boost provided by drinking a chef's delight results in a higher Cooking level that can reduce the burn rates of food, in turn boosting profit/reducing loss.
