This is a known method for making profit with magic and a gain of 2052 Magic experience is given per load (27 orbs charged). To charge an entire inventory of 27 Air Orbs, one must bring 81 cosmic runes.
If buying the unpowered orb and cosmic runes on the Grand Exchange, wielding an air staff and then selling the created Air orb, you will make 1476 coins per orb or 39852 coins for an inventory of 27 orbs.
It is possible to gain up to 40,000 Magic experience per hour using the charge air orb spell, making this one of the best training methods, since you gain fast experience and profits at the same time. However, with the reinstatement of player killing in the Wilderness, this method is far more dangerous than it previously was.
