Chaotic equipment is a set that can be bought from the rewards trader on Daemonheim. All of the items require level 80 Dungeoneering and level 80 in the corresponding skill to wield (e.g. the chaotic staff requires 80 Magic and Dungeoneering). This equipment was generally considered the most powerful equipment usable outside of the Daemonheim, up to the release of drygore weapons.
Upon dying with chaotic weaponry, weapons will degrade to broken and must be fixed again. They will also protect over any item with a guide price under 20,000,000 coins, while items worth over 20,000,000 coins take priority.
It is possible to destroy your chaotic weapons. Upon doing so, you will be prompted on a confirmation screen where you will receive 50% of the tokens you originally spent on the item. This destroys the item, and you will need to purchase a new one from the rewards trader for the full price.

Degradation and repairEdit
All chaotic equipment has 30,000 charges of combat (a minimum time of 5 hours). Once the charges run out, the item will break and become unusable until repaired by the rewards trader at Daemonheim. When first purchased, most items will have a 20% charge - with the exception of the spear and claws, which are created with 100% charge. Repairs are made incrementally in 1% portions, and the cost of recharging can be paid in two ways: coins, or a combination of coins and dungeoneering tokens.
- Main-hand weapons, two-handed weapons, and shields
- Off-hand weapons
All repair costs are reduced by 5% if Daemonheim aura 3 has been earned.
- All chaotic equipment cost 400,000 Dungeoneering tokens before the 21 April 2010 update.
- Unlike most fully degraded equipment, chaotic equipment can still be re-equipped at 0 charge.
