The Cedar tree is a special tree that is found as a part of the In Pyre Need quest to help rescue the Phoenix. Harvesting branches from this tree gives you the Cedar twigs when Secateurs are "used" on this tree. Then a knife is used to produce Cedar weaving ribbon which is one of five weaving ribbons to be used on the pyre to kill the Phoenix and have it reborn.
[edit] Trivia
- Cedar trees are native to mountainous regions although in the In Pyre Need quest the tree is found inside of a cave.
